Bakery and café with a long history

Kringelgården is a historic bakery that's been in Saltsjöbaden since 1902. These days, they also have a sister spot in Midsommarkransen, where you can eat, have a coffee and buy bread and buns to take home with you from their well-stocked counter.

Kringelgården has been baking bread in their bakery in Saltsjöbaden for more than 100 years, and the bakery is now run by the third generation. In autumn 2022, they expanded and opened a bread shop and café in one of the historic industrial buildings on Tellusborgsvägen in Midsommarkransen. Stop and buy something from the bread counter, which is filled with both sweet cakes and pastries and savoury bread. Every day, the range is replenished with fresh cinnamon buns, croissants, levain bread, baguettes and much more, all baked with artisanal skill. 

You can also take a seat in the café and have breakfast, lunch or coffee on site. They serve grilled sandwiches with levain bread and selected toppings, hearty salads and hot stews, among other things. You can also start the day with an artisan yogurt in a glass jar, or just have a coffee and bun. On Sundays, a curated bakery brunch is served with classics such as croque monsieur, smoothies and grilled croissant to round off the week. The calm atmosphere tends to attract families with children as well as freelancers and locals.
