The square pastry is both a delight for the eye and for the taste buds. Incredibly crispy and chewy puff pastry, coarse almond paste with bite-sized pieces of almonds and good pressure in the taste, perfect whipped cream.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about (sure, 68 SEK for a semla is perhaps in the most substantial inventory, but if any semla is worth the money, it is this one!), the staff was nice and located on Drottninggatan it could not be much more central.
Update 2024: became a classic semla this time (takeaway), and ooooincredible. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Fluffy bun, great coarsely ground almond paste with a little cardamom flavor, topped with a couple of chopped almonds, plenty of perfectly whipped cream. Wow.

Litet café högst upp på Drottninggatan. Vann Stockholms bästa kanelbulle 2025. Populärt ställe, så nackdelen är väl den hyfsat lilla lokalen. Liten uteservering på sommaren.
