Stora Henriksvik, one of Stockholm's cosiest cafés, is on the scenic island of Långholmen. Right next to a tucked-away little beach, the café has views over the waters of Lake Mälaren. Enjoy home-baked quiches and other treats before rounding off with a refreshing swim.
Stora Henriksvik has a long history. The building is decorated in classic 18th century style with trompe l'œil paintings, Chinese influences and other typical interiors details from the time of Gustav III. Outside, there's a large, leafy garden, where they grow all kinds of fruit, berries, herbs and vegetables.
The café serves a wide range of freshly-baked cakes and buns, luxurious pastries and simple lunches such as salads and soups. The ingredients they use are organic wherever possible, and most of their fruit and vegetables come from their own gardens. Every autumn they hold a harvest market selling vegetables, fruit, preserves, cordials and other goodies.
With its unique setting and central location, Stora Henriksvik is also a popular spot for conferences, weddings and other celebrations. During the summer months, the garden is transformed into a rustic oasis for cocktail parties and dinners for up to 128 people. In the winter, up to 68 guests can gather in the building's cosy function room. The café provides food, coffee and cakes and drinks from their own kitchen.

Mitt favoritcafé i Stockholm! Man kan avnjuta både fika och lunch omringad av vatten och grönska. Dessutom är huset helt idylliskt med en Bellmanutställning och sekelskiftdetaljer. Caféet är också tillgängligt att hyra om man vill ha ett privat even... Show full »
