Restaurants in Stockholm Central Station

Perini

Food, champagne and wine

You'll find Perini by the station's Klarabergsviadukten entrance, opposite Cityterminalen. Every weekday they serve two or three different lunch dishes between 11am and 3pm. As well as lunch, they serve a Mediterranean-inspired dinner menu and they have a large selection of wine and champagne to choose from.

O'Learys Centralstation

American sports bar

O'Learys is a typical American sports bar which draws in locals and travellers passing through. The kitchen serves up simple dishes such as nachos, wings and a wide range of hamburgers and accompaniments. You can also have a beer or something else to drink at the bar and if you're in luck, you can watch a match while you're waiting for your train.

Luzette

Classic feel

Luzette, which is run by the same people as establishments such as Riche and Sturehof has obvious influences from restaurants in grand central train stations such as those in Paris and New York. Recharge before your trip with something to eat or drink in a vibrant atmosphere, or just slip in for a dinner with an international feel. The dishes on the menu have a classically European feel, with dishes such as steak tartare, oysters and steak frites.

Vete-Katten

A Stockholm institution

Vete-Katten is well known as one of Stockholm's classic konditoris and cafés. If you're not passing their main Kungsgatan address, you can also find their smaller outlet in the station. Perfect for picking up a sandwich or cardamom bun for your journey.

Wiggo Wraps

Good quality ingredients

They don't believe in shortcuts at Wiggo Wraps, and work only with with good quality ingredients. Most of their substantial wraps are made to order, and can be ordered as a fresh salad if you prefer.

Fresh and popular

The store stocks Urban Delis to-go range, which is great for taking on your trip, after a workout or to the office and includes portioned dishes, breakfast dishes, smoothies, sandwiches and freshly squeezed juice. The restaurant serves an all-day menu, most of which is vegan or lacto-ovo.

Mangal BBQ

Street food from the Middle East

Their signature dish is döner kebab in various guises, but there are also wraps, salads and bowls with chicken or vegetarian to choose from. They don't have their own seats, but if you want to eat on site, you can take a seat among the tables on the central level.

Espresso House

Knight in shining armour

Espresso House can be a lifesaver when you're after a light lunch, snack or coffee. The American-influenced coffee chain has branches all over Stockholm and the one at Central Station is, unsurprisingly, extremely popular. Most of their food and drinks are easy to take with you on the train and, as ordering and paying is generally very quick and efficient, it's worth waiting a few minutes in the queue.

Upper Crust

Filling sandwiches

At Upper Crust, they've understood the importance of convenient food on the journey - since opening at Waterloo Station in London in 1986, they've established themselves in over a hundred train stations and airports worldwide. Bonus tips

Stockholm Fisk has been right next door to Cityterminal for more than ten years. As the name suggests, they serve all kinds of piscine delicacies - both fish and shellfish. They also have a bar with its own bar menu at slightly lower prices and with a more laid-back atmosphere. Its location so close to Central Station makes it a great option when you're travelling.

Griffins' Steakhouse

Fun and welcoming

Just a stone's throw from Central Station, Griffins Steakhouse is a delightful mixture of design, art, culture and food. Mismatched furniture, vintage fringed lamps and ornaments combine in the quirkily decorated dining room and the menu includes next-level steakhouse and grill favourites.
