Alice Hair & Art is a concept studio that combines art, hairdressing, barbershop and creative events all under one roof. The hairdressers have their own unique styles and so the salon welcomes a broad clientele who want to get their hair done in a warm, creative environment.
Alice Hair & Art's ambition is to be an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of central Stockholm. You're welcomed to the salon with coffee and a chocolate, before taking a seat in the light, airy locale. The hair stylists have many years of experience and place great importance on both skill and personal service. As well as classic treatments such as cuts and colours they also do the latest styles from social media, edgy cuts, hair extensions, styling, seamless fades and beard trims. If you want a real glow-up, you can also have your eyelashes and brows tinted.
Uniquely for Alice Hair & Art, they combine a hairdressing salon with an art gallery. The gallery shows a variety of exhibitions, from paintings, photography and sculpture to jewellery and clothing – basically anything that has a connection to art or the creative process. For each new exhibition, a vernissage is held, which can be described more as a social evening with music, drinks and a New York feel, than a classic exhibition opening. They also organise other creative events.
Sara Alice Dahlgren founded the concept with the desire to create a meeting place where crafts, culture and art come together, where you can come to get your hair done, while also sipping on something delicious and being inspired, to the sounds of relaxing music. A holistic experience for both body and soul, in other words.
