Welcome Hotel

Welcome Hotel in Barkarby offers accommodation, a restaurant and bar and conference facilities. The hotel was renovated in 2016 and since then guests have also been able to enjoy the modern spa. As well as traditional overnight hotel accommodation, Welcome provides longer-term accommodation for anyone visiting Stockholm for a longer period - all a short distance from the city centre.

The four-star hotel, which was built in 1985, has been welcoming business travellers and private guests for more than 30 years. The hotel is run together with the next-door Wärdshuset Lasse Maja. They have Nordic Swan ecolabel accreditation, as testament to work reducing their environmental impact, and they're also members of the branch organisations Visita and Svenska Möten.

The hotel has several good-value accommodation options, whether you're travelling on your own, as a couple or part of a larger group. Welcome Hotel has 146 rooms in various sizes, from 12 to 32 square metres, all with contemporary decor and fully equipped with everything you need for a business trip, such as a desk and triple glazing for much-needed sleep.

Lone travellers, families and work colleagues come to Welcome to stay a night or more and everyone can feel welcome here. The bistro is open every day serving food and drink, you can enjoy a cocktail and game of shuffleboard in the lounge, or why not book a drinks tasting with snacks. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool for warmer days.
