It is easy to forget about Eken, especially now with all the remodeling around Slussen but if you are looking for wonderful views, humane prices charming service I recommend you a visit.

I have been here on several occasions, mostly to drink wine and enjoy the view as the sun sets over City Hall. It almost makes me cry every time, it's so beautiful!

I've eaten their Avocado and Shrimp Salad and it's a great portion of food with creamy avocado and hand-peeled shrimp. Not the best but better than many others.

My best tip is to come right at sunset, buy a bottle of French rosé wine and sit down so you can watch the spectacle. At that time it is not so messy either, but you can easily sit and talk to your friends at the same time.

The staff is rapped and serviceminded. Maybe a little plump at times but it doesn't seem to be with private but just part of their personality.

Before the drunkenness strikes for the other guests, it's best to go. I know from experience that it gets messy, loud and that the smoke is heavy over the outdoor terrace.
