Many positive impressions from Punk Royale yesterday. Single negative. Will see if I can remember all the fun that happened during the evening.

The absolute best thing about the restaurant is the concept. It is extremely different, in a cruel fun. It is extremely small. Not sure of the number of seats, but would guess at around 20. When we played music on the probably highest volume I heard in a restaurant, at least clearly high volume. When we were done, the volume was not far from the nightclub level. It played a crazy mix of music, from the Vengaboys-Boom Boom Boom and Roxette-How Do You Do, to insane 눉very hot room. At some point every half hour fills the room with smoke from a smoke machine à la disco in junior high. We drank, not a drop of alcohol that evening, but it was impossible not to get carried away with the atmosphere. A little later, a deep fried fish (anglerfish? Do not remember) with various sauces on which we shall give in the US advance.

I and my party went here a Wednesday evening with incredibly high expectations – which were really fulfilled. The Punk Royale must simply be experienced! I've never been to a restaurant with a similar concept.
