A gastronomic holistic experience with precision, elegance, and a warm atmosphere

After two decades of successful collaborations, the star chefs Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman opened their most ambitious fine dining project yet in spring 2026. At Adam Albin, the duo creates their own interpretations of influences from both the Nordic region and classic French cuisine, prepared with meticulous precision and a focus on the ingredients.

Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman belong to the elite among Sweden's restaurateurs, with acclaimed restaurants such as Solen and Misshumasshu. With Adam Albin, they have gathered all their experience to deliver holistic experiences with food, drink, service, and atmosphere of world-class quality. Something that resulted in the bistro, located at Gustav Adolfs torg in central Stockholm, taking over the Michelin star previously awarded to the duo's restaurant Adam/Albin just months after opening, which closed at the end of 2025. Guide Michelin, at the same time, named Adam Albin the 2026 restaurant opening of the year.

With precision, care, and creativity, dishes are prepared that are characterized by Nordic purity, but also look outward to the world. As a guest, you can choose between two experiences: a seasonal tasting menu where you experience the full repertoire of the restaurant, and a slightly smaller menu that is developed in dialogue with the chefs. Both options are offered with wine packages and non-alcoholic beverage packages, and you can also freely select from the wine list, filled with hand-picked bottles from both traditional regions and new rising stars.

In contrast to the ambitious cooking, the atmosphere at Adam Albin is more relaxed and feels more like a homey living room than a fine dining restaurant. The 550 square meters span three floors, with decor that is elegant without being ostentatious, and art by contemporary Swedish creators. The idea here is that you should feel cared for and at ease, while also enjoying views of the Royal Palace, the Opera, and the Swedish Parliament.
