Congratulations to everyone who has experienced this gem, the cozy neighborhood restaurant feeling is in the walls! I can really recommend sitting in the kitchen bar where you can follow the chefs up close as they create their magic. Not many times in my life I get such a magical experience of tasting EVERYTHING that comes in. When we had gone through all the snacks (recommend to take all of them on the menu) and a fantastic pike-perch for the main courses, I was almost ready to cry when dessert came in. Coconut sorbet with poached mango, passion fruit, rum sabayonne and long pepper, the flavors took me back to a trip in Colombia many years ago where coconut was often used with a mixture of fruits in such a magical flavorful way. If I could have given more than five stars, I would have done it... I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Hade en fantastisk upplevelse på Animo, både mat och dryckesmässigt. Restaurangen är trevlig, den kändes ganska liten men väldigt grön med mycket växter. Vi fick sitta i ett mysigt bås precis vid baren när man kom in. Personalen var verkligen toppen! Jag åt den kända råbiffen med våffla med en otrolig pinot noir. VM-anka med en chenin blanc som passade helt perfekt till ankan som var lite spicy. Slutligen en slags mazarin som delades på två. Också den väldigt bra. Rekommenderar verkligen ett besök! Otroligt gott och verkligen value for money. Håller med om Lilla Ego jämförelsen. Vi åt nästan alla rätter på menyn och var ändå inte proppmätta. Vet inte om det är så att vi är stora i maten eller om portionerna är i minsta laget. Förmodligen en mix.
Hursomhelst så var maten otroligt god. Snacksen förutom ostronet kanske var det minst spännande. Ostronet var megagott.

The food is really good and the atmosphere pleasant and the cooks friendly. Given the high reviews and the price tag, expectations were quite hiked. I agree with other reviews that the appetisers are a must and even better than the actual starters and main. One of the starters was actually really sour (too much to be fully enjoyable in our taste), so a little minus there. We sat by the bar overlooking the kitchen and the team was in a great mood. Unfortunately I couldn’t see the prep because the bar is so high and I’m too short to see what’s happening on the other side. (I’m not THAT short) so here goes the fifth star. If you are tall, go for the bar, if not it will definitely be more comfortable sitting at a table.
