We tried veal and fried squid for an appetizer. The octopus/ squid was really wow. The veal was nice but almost too salty. Then we ordered all the pastas they had for the evening. The lamb ragù was really good, mild and flavorful. Tagliatelle was my favorite, buttery!! The risotto was rather mediocre unfortunately. For the main course we split a pepper steak, incredibly good peppery taste in the sauce. Love when you put it on! We finished the whole feast with a abbey riddle? Actually fattiga riddare (poor knights bread) dessert. Our one was a bit burnt but still tasty. Why not a five? They gave the table next to us our pasta and didn’t say a word for 35 minutes. Then the whole seating felt quite stressful and our outdoor seating table had a queue of course. They offered some cola as compensation and that is nice service. In summary we were really full and think the food held a really high standard! Amazingly nice that we got the pepper steak on separate plates when we chose to share a main course.
