Bistro Rigoletto is right next door to the classic Rigoletto cinema on Kungsgatan and it's run by the Ahlbom family of restaurateurs. Drop by for a drink or spend the whole evening here, enjoyed French-inspired food and drinks in bistro surroundings.
Inspiration comes from Fifties Paris, with red velvet sofas, black bistro stools, checked floors and a brass-clad bar. Eat both lunch and dinner here with views over the buzz of Kungsgatan. The menu includes everything from oysters to medium-sized French dishes such as steak tartare and bouillabaisse. Accompany your meal with bubbles or wine, in true French style.
If you're in the mood for a gin & tonic, you've also come to the right place. Bistro Rigoletto's bar is one of Stockholm's first gin bars, with a huge selection of gins. You can also grab lunch on the go here, or round off the day with a beer as you take in the Continental atmosphere. Later on, the bar gets livelier still as cinema-goers pile in after the last film screening of the day.
There's a VIP bar area upstairs within the cinema itself which can be booked for special occasions serving light food and drinks.
