Swedish-Italian flavours on the city's most famous street
At the far end of Drottninggatan, just above the most bustling part of the busy street, is Drottninghof. Swedish and Italian classics come together here on the same menu, and as well as lunch and dinner, you can come here for a post-work drink in the bar.
With an address in the middle of the city, right next to Hötorget, Drottninghof attracts both local office workers and tourists and other city strollers. Inside the restaurant, you can take a break from the buzz of the big city and relax in cosy surroundings with dim lighting and elegant decor. If you still want to feel part of the liveliness of Drottninggatan, take a seat on the glassed-in outdoor terrace.
The evening menu offers a mix of traditional Swedish dishes and favourites from Italy such as pasta and Neapolitan pizza, as well as a few elements from the rest of Europe. Groups can also order larger pieces of meat to share, for an extra festive experience. At lunchtime, Swedish home cooking is the order of the day with daily meat and fish dishes, with some regular classics as alternatives.
