Two of Stockholm's top Italian restaurateur families come together at the Nobis group's Giretto, where the "casual dining" concept includes a typical Italian menu including antipasti, pizza and pasta. The restaurant is in the 1960s S:t Paul building, right next to Götgatsbacken.
Pizza-lover Gustavo Catenacci originally founded Giretto with the aim of creating a place where families and friends can meet up in a little corner of Italy in Stockholm. In 2022 he joined forces with the Campogiani family to create a generous and even more expansive Italian experience. Families, hungry lunchers and other groups are welcome here to enjoy the relaxed concept where unpretentious Italian cuisine is the order of the day.
The menu consists of Neapolitan pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven, pasta dishes and salads which you can accompany with a beer, a glass of Italian wine, or perhaps an Aperol Spritz. Order a few different dishes and share with the table - just like they do in Italy.
The premises are colourful and stylish, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The bar counter and tables are clad in natural wood, while the walls are covered in green panels, white tiles and Italian posters. The floor is typically chequered in black and white.
If you're a fan of Italian gelato ice cream, round off your meal with a scoop or two, or treat yourself to a tiramisu.
