Glada Stinsen's doors opened on 11 January 1991 and it's been run by owners Marko and Zdravka Putnik ever since. At this neighbourhood restaurant where atmosphere, hospitality and friendly service are the watchwords, you'll find everything from Swedish homecooking to Balkan specialties on the menu.

Do all roads lead to Glada Stinsen? Possibly. The restaurant is right next to Södra Station, just a short walk from Zinkensdamm, Mariatorget and Medborgarplatsen. Local regulars and passing tourists all end up here, possibly because it's so welcoming - to both large and small parties.

Pop in for a beer or take a seat at a table and tuck into a hearty meal. You'll find great value lunch dishes, set menus for large groups (up to 30 people) and a fixed à la carte. The menu includes classics such as Toast Skagen, pork fillet Oscar, fish and seafood stew and Croque Monsieur, as well as Balkan-inspired dishes such as Raznjici (grilled pork skewers) och Cevapcici (a grilled minced meat dish).

You can sit comfortably at the bar on high stools, where they serve a large, classic selection of cocktails as well as beer and wine. If you'd rather take a pew outside, Glada Stinsen has an al fresco dining area too, whether you want to have something to eat or just enjoy a drink.
