Hillenberg

I really want to enjoy this a lot more than I do, but I can't.
Or rather, maybe I want them to tighten up a bit so it will be as good as it has the potential to be.

Because the location is great and the room is super nice. The service is knowledgeable - but my goodness how slow and slow it goes. It is downright deplorable how lax it is. We were there for lunch, the room was maybe half full - MAX - and we had to wait 30 minutes for a glass of champagne each. We tried to make eye contact to no avail, then wave a little gently, we shouted a humble little "sorry" but zero reaction.

We each took a whole Toast skagen. And it was super good, one of the better ones I've eaten and then I'm really a skagen lover! And the toast that came about was really golden and butter-fried just the way it should be! But, the mess itself with the skagen was so vanishingly small! And then, as I said, we took a whole portion. Which was also EXPENSIVE. I thought it was a bit too expensive even before I took it in, but considering the size, it was almost scandalous - even though it was so good.

Really wish they fix the service and throw on a little more rub on the portions - because there is potential for a much better rating - but not right now.
