Gåsmiddag i november. Bokade via hemsidan, fullt så skrev upp oss på väntelista. Ringde för att kolla om det var någon chans att få plats och hamnade hoa en mycket stressad dam som upprepade flera gånger att de bara hade en begränsad mängd gäss trots att det inte var det jag frågade.
Fick sms om att vi fått plats. Kollade, OK! Kom dit på kvällen och upptäckte att vi fått mejl tidigare på dagen att vi hade avbokat! och skulle hört av oss om det inte stämde!? Bra kvinnlig hovmästare fixade bord ändå. Toppen.
Bra förrätt men sen kom gåsen. Min verkade vara det som blivit över på skärbrädan när man skar upp fågeln. Trist, mycket senor mm. Bra tillbehör. Jag äter inte gluten så jag fick chokladkaka med sorbet i st f äppelpaj. Den visade sig vara en bit av Frias färdigfrysta som man kan köpa i vilken mataffär som helst. Supertrist och inte prisvärt. Betalade 725 per pers bara för maten. Aldrig mer.

Vi fick en trevlig och uppmärksam servitör, Carlos, som var snabb med dryckesbeställningar och leverans och dessutom använde en stor portion humor.

Själva brunchen var lagom tyckte nog alla - och den ramslöksgravade laxen gick framförallt hem. Vissa ställen vräker på och man vare sig orkar eller vill ha en julbordscoma när vädret är härligt vårigt utanför.

Lokalen är ju trevlig och efter var det bara att gå ner maten med en promis runt Långholmen.

Cozy restaurant with relaxed and welcoming environment. We got our own room to eat in as we were a large company which was nice.
They recommended a white and a red wine with the food. The white wine, chardonnay, was very light in taste even though you were first a bit fooled by the deep yellow tone. I got a different red wine than the company because it was a grape in those that had been ordered that I could not tolerate, but the red I got is one of the taser I drunk, cabernet sauvignon, Round and deep taste. Both wines were from 19 crimes and suited both to the food and as a companion drink before and after dinner.

For Main Course I took the hung beef fillet with brandy sauce, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and mashed potatoes. And the fillet of beef, wow so tender! You barely had to cut them! The meat really attracted the thin and tasteful brandy sauce and was fantastic. The accessories worked perfectly to, and equally so the red wine that was served now.

I'm not a real Dessert person, but was curious about the 3 chocolate truffles and to this it became an Irish coffee. One of the pralines was light chocolate and it was too sweet for my taste, one with between dark chocolate and cocoa around that was very creamy and tasty and the last one that had the darkest chocolate was very compact but still thought it worked. Irish coffee was quite okay, a little too much cream according to me but you are a coffee man also who likes to have a stronger coffee taste than usual.
An Irish coffee and 3 pralines was a perfect ending in my taste!

The service was very in between. They tried hard and knew what standard the place wants to perform but did not always go all the way.
The person who helped with the wine was very professional and knowledgeable in the field. Knew what they would recommend to what and considering that we were a large company with different liking. The person who then served was not as good. They gave bread but felt stressed in the meantime. And when they poured wine, I asked him what kind of grapes were in and he said " don't know, here's the bottle and you can search." Probably because he was stressed and felt that there was a lot to fix up our company. But given that the place was not crowded, I think he could have checked it, or used a nicer way of saying it.
