I haven't eaten here, but still want to leave a review as I probably won't try to book a table here again.
My friend and I had booked a table earlier this week for a Sunday brunch. Since neither she nor I had been here before, we were looking forward to trying Le Bistro's Sunday brunch. When we came in, we had to wait a while before a waitress came and took care of us. It looked very full and some had gotten really bad tables. A couple sat on a table that looked like it belonged to the "head waiter's booth". We explained that we had booked a table and she asked wniggeringly if we could show a booking confirmation. Of course we could. After we showed off our booking confirmation, the waitress stepped up to a table with two guests. I heard one of them exclaim "You're joking?!". The restaurant had double booked our table and it felt like they had zero control over their bookings. The guest asked if there was any other table or place they could sit at because they had had to place an order. I quickly checked to see if there were tables at any other restaurant and found a table at Jacquelines. It felt so horrible to take someone else's table. When we explained the situation to the waitress and said that we should go to some other place and that we could come back another time, she thought a little nonchalantly on her shoulders. No thanks, nothing sorry. She didn't offer us to put in a new booking. Had I been a waitress, I would have offered 10% on the next booking as compensation.
No, this was the definition of really bad service!

I find it difficult to review Le Bistro, since there were several things that were bad (above all that we had very bad luck with our service) but several that were also good.
I and a friend had booked brunch here on a Sunday, when we arrived there was a lot of people and there seems to be no reservation system, but one is referred to where it is free, which in our case was a big round table for 6 people which felt like that , but luckily it was a table for two just after free, right next to the window. There are two guys who work during this time, he I welcomed by is friendly and nice, unfortunately we got the rest of the time another that was completely LOST. He was not very nice and showed no service-spirit, I did not see that he smiled once, and there was absolutely no commitment.
I ordered American pancakes, elder lemonade and a Havrecappucino and my company A shrimp salad and coffee. When we got our food, my drink was forgotten, so had to wait a few extra minutes on it (I saw that tables that came after us got their drink quickly after they ordered, before the food came). To my pancakes were served among other things. Syrup, which I thought was a joke when it looked like it took someone's leftover sirapskål, it was type 0.5 cl syrup in it. I said to the second waiter who was ashamed and immediately gave me a new, filled bowl.
The food was good.
We finally asked for the bill and our waiter forgot it as fast as we said something, so after 20-30 minutes we asked the other one that came to disturbed.
So, poor service but it could be bad luck. The staff were very friendly and stimmig. Not my first choice but if I was nearby and wanted to go somewhere I could go back.
