Le Nom is located next door to Babette and it run by the same people behind Bar Nombre. Bar Nombre's Spanish influences have been translated here to French, with the ambition of offering guests a fine dining experience in a simple, no-fuss environment. While the ambiance is distinctly French, the cuisine has adopted a worldly approach with emphasis on greens.
The interior is designed by Martin Roek and is vibrant departure from the otherwise monochrome restaurant trend. Pink wall panels, marble tabletops and murals enhance the experience. The bistro has about 60 seats, with ample room for hanging out at the bar, lending a relaxed, spontaneous feel.
The menu is divided into themes; Green, Sea and Meat with a variety of half-sized portions so that guests can sample the scope of the menu. A four-course vegetarian menu is also available. A seasoned chef, with experience from Fat Duck in London and Farang, is the mastermind behind this innovative concept.
