I'm a bit ambivalent to Local Izakaya. It is really good and the service is great but it is not possible to assess on the basis of what is said to be an Izakaya. It was good except that the fish tasted a bit too fiskigt. Makin was fantastic with the springy asparagus and creamy avocado. The Tartar was the bar but almost too small pieces to eat with chopsticks as I dared me to fork.

For dessert, I took the drink Flamingo Smash with Lillet rosé, lime, strawberry, pepper sugar and champagne, completely incredibly good!

The service was sweet and charming. She could tap menu and answered all questions. It was a beer she couldn't as she easily apologized and took out more.

The company I was with made this evening for a five-star. You would have liked to be a fly on the wall as we talked about everything from blue body parts to how a date begins. Everything in between will I keep for myself.
