Restaurang Hybrid defies conventional categorisation - but if they really had to choose, gastropub would be the word that best describes them, with an emphasis on artisanal food and drink.

You'll find the restaurant just outside the city centre, opposite Tele2 Arena. The team works with Swedish ingredients from the forest and sea. As well as dinner and a bar scene that includes craft beers and natural wines, they also serve lunch on Fridays with fish, meat and vegetarian options.

When owners Lotta and Patric opened Hybrid it was only natural for them to get their inspiration from the Michelin-starred and Bib Gourmand-awarded gastropubs they'd previously worked at in Sweden and England. The team runs a seasonally-based kitchen with an emphasis on top-quality ingredients. They combine their food with artisanally produced drinks of all kinds.

The kitchen uses modern, traditional, and sometimes ancient, techniques to bring out the very best flavours in the food. The result is a menu with Swedish dishes based on game meat, fish and shellfish. There are drinks pairing suggestions for every dish. The emphasis is on dinner, but on Fridays they serve a Friday lunch with fish, meat and vegetarian alternatives.

Come by for a delicious dinner, a craft beer or a glass of what they call "wine with no shit in it". The buzz guests create is a big part of the experience at this restaurant, which has a modern pub feel with wood elements, a large bar, linen textiles and blackboards with drinks written up on them.
