Since its conception in the late '90s, this popular Vasastan restaurant has become a modern classic attracting everybody from media types to tourists. They serve medium-sized dishes with Swedish and international flavours, and the restaurant also boasts a boisterous bar scene.
Storstad opened in 1999 and quickly became a well-established Vasastan institution appealing to a wide and varied audience. The restaurant has in recent years undergone a makeover and is now twice the size as the original. The restaurant's decor includes white tiled walls, brass details, white tablecloths and bistro chairs. Storstad fuses a laid-back atmosphere with inspiration from major international cities.
The varied menu consists of international medium-sized dishes such as steak tartare, sliders and steamed buns, alongside main courses such as Storstad's classic prawn sandwich. Round off your meal with their apple doughnut.
Storstad is also famous for its lively bar scene and guests swing by for a drink after work or post-dinner. The bar serves a wide selection of gin drinks and cocktails. During summer months the large outdoor terrace is a welcome addition.
