The restaurant at Moderna Museet serves lunch, brunch and coffee with top quality ingredients and magnificent views over the water. Start or round off your museum visit here, or just come here for the gastronomic experience. If you just want a quick coffee on the run there's also an espresso bar next to the restaurant. 

Moderna Museet's restaurant welcomes museum visitors and other hungry guests. Seasonal ingredients form the basis of the menu, which offers two new lunch dishes every day, one with meat or fish and one vegetarian. Culinary influences range from Scandinavian to international, and there's a special children's menu for the youngest guests. You can also visit the restaurant for a coffee with a bun or pastry, or for an early post-work a glass of wine, beer or fresh kombucha. At the weekend you can celebrate with a brunch buffet, with a theme linked to one of the current exhibitions. 

The light, airy dining room is simply decorated with wood, white tiles and natural colours, allowing the surrounding nature to take centre stage. Located on Skeppsholmen, the restaurant has a view of the water, Djurgården and Strandvägen, which you can experience through the panoramic windows during the winter months, and in summer from the sun-drenched terrace. 

Moderna Museet's restaurant, including the terrace, can also be booked for private parties, conferences and corporate events.
