”Common tongue, uncommon bottles” goes the saying at Sofia Common. They serve food with American and Mexican flavours, as well as carefully selected beers and cocktails. Drop by for lunch, dinner or a post-work drink.  

Sofia Common opened in the spring of 2023, providing a meeting place on Nytorget with Mexican and American flavours for lunch and dinner, as well as a happy hour hangout with nice prices. Behind the concept is Austin Davis, who has roots in Mexico and the United States and has been inspired by Hollywood nostalgia, American delis and the culture of northern Mexico and the West Coast of the United States.

The menu flirts with Mexican cuisine, with influences from American delis. Vegetarians and meat lovers alike will find several options to choose from, such as tacos, burgers and reuben. Most of the items, such as the restaurant's bread and tortillas, are homemade from scratch. Drinks include wine by the glass and bottle, beer by the bottle and on tap, and cocktails with gin, mezcal and tequila, among others.
