Storholmen Sjökrog, on the island of Storholmen close to Lidingö, is a charming restaurant with views over the water and boat life. Visit all year round to enjoy the nautical atmosphere and dishes inspired by the archipelago and southern Europe.
The restaurant opened in 1999 but went through a thorough renovation in 2020 and the dining room has a light, airy modern archipelago style. During the summer months you can eat al fresco on the waterfront and in the winter you can warm up next to the fire inside the restaurant, or hang out in the lounge with its comfy sofas and bar.
The kitchen serves classic fish and shellfish dishes, along with other dishes influenced by the surrounding archipelago and Mediterranean cuisine. Choose from Toast Skagen, moules frites, Caesar salad or prawn salad, or order a seafood platter in advance. On Sundays they serve brunch with brunch favourites for adults and children.
Travel to Storholmen Sjökrog by ferry boat, taxi boat or private boat, or if you've missed a departure the restaurant can usually give you a lift with their own boat for a small fee.
