To begin with, Villa Källhagen is very beautiful. A nice view of the water, nice and bright room and in the summers a really good outdoor terrace. We have a big group that started outside in the bar and then had room inside.
The buffet was really great and my favorite was the cold one, mainly because there was sandwich cake, yummy! Otherwise, there was everything you need on both the cold and hot table. The fries weren't perfect but I don't think anyone would succeed with really good fries at a buffet. There was really something for everyone and a nice drink list.
The service this day was really good from the moment we arrived until we said goodbye. They really made us feel like they were glad we were there.
Unfortunately, however, we came here a larger group the week after, just because I had such incredibly good impressions and that I knew that they have plenty of space outdoors. We were going to drink bubbly before we went on to the next place for dinner. Unfortunately, we were not treated nicely at all! There were two companies that were going to mingle on the terrace so of course I understand that we couldn't be there. But the answer we only got was "No, that's not possible!" Not until I asked why did we find out that there were two larger groups coming. I asked if there was any possibility to sit somewhere else? That we bought the bottles we were going to have and the glasses we needed and could be inside or on their huge lawn. But it was very rude tone that we absolutely could not stay. Sad and actually pulled this down to a 4 from 5. Because you don't know what to expect when you arrive.
