A taste of Barcelona and Madrid in the heart of Kungsholmen

Xarcuteria tapas bar brings the feeling of Barcelona and Madrid bars to Kungsholmen. Tapas, charcuterie, wine and microbrewed beer are served here in the southern European way, and the small venue welcomes everyone from after-work workers to families with small children. The aim is that everyone should feel at home here. 

The idea for Xarcuteria came when brothers David and Douglas Tikka traveled around Spain and Italy visiting southern European neighbourhood bars. They took the inspiration they gained with them to Kungsholmen, where they now run this small tapas and wine bar with a focus on selected ingredients from Spain and Italy, many of them from producers the brothers have visited personally. The venue is lined with white tiles, wine racks and simple wooden tables where you can come together for something to eat and drink, and the relaxed atmosphere attracts a mixed crowd. Come here for a quick drink after work or a full evening out. 

Start your meal with some charcuterie cut to order, or dive straight into classic and modern tapas. Order as many as you want; they're served as soon as they're ready and are ideal for sharing. Many of the products are made from black-footed Spanish ibérico, also called pata negra. In addition to the food, a varied selection of wine and microbrewed beer is offered.
