The best tapas restaurants in Stockholm

In the autumn of 2018 Le Nom on Roslagsgatan changed its spots and became Las Brasas, a modern restaurant with South American and Spanish influences. Alongside excellent grilled dishes, they serve a large selection of rustic but elegantly presented tapas - meat, seafood and vegetarian. Accompanying wines are given equal emphasis.

Frippe in Dramaten focuses on Spanish flavours, in terms of both food and drink. They serve classic Spanish tapas dishes, ranging from cheese and charcuterie to prawns and beef fillet, with both traditional and more modern elements. The venue has plenty of space for both small and large groups to hang out.

Aqui is one of Stockholm's most popular tapas restaurants, and their extensive menu may well be part of the draw. They mix classic dshes with more daring, innovative alternatives and the tapas menu alone has some 50 dishes. There are also plenty of dessert options if you like rounding off your meal with something sweet.

Caliente can be found multiple locations around Stockholm and has become somewhat of an institution when it comes to delicious Spanish finger food. A laid-back atmosphere and classic, reasonably-priced tapas menu are the order of the day here. Ideal for groups of friends who feel like sharing dishes and drinking wine in relaxed surroundings. The menu includes dishes such such as fajitas, spicy chicken wings and nachos.

The menu includes some 30 tapas dishes, as well as some classic Spanish main courses. The restaurant lives up to its name - enjoy their own-recipe sangria based on red, white or rosé wine.
