Zain Chaska restaurant is owned by the family, who are originally from the area of Lahore that is called "food cult" by Pakistan. The best dishes with authentic slim and spices, cooking done with love and passion cannot be found anywhere else in the whole country that you will find in the old town of Lahore.
In exactly the same way, Anila (chef master and owner) Lahori cooks dishes in Stockholm, since 30 years now and people love her dishes and desserts.
The family has been active in the catering/restaurant industry for a long time but last 2 years they have broken records for brunch service.
Her popular brunch dish is Halwa poori (semolina porridge without milk) served with potato curry and chickpea stew that you die for! The taste of chickpea stew is Guuuuudom! People travel from other cities and far from the south to eat Chickpea's stew with Naan bread or poori (flour bread that is deep-fried)
My and the others' absolute favorite dish is Nihari! Beef stew, slow cooked, topped with corriander, green chilli, ginger and lemon, eat with fresh Naan bread, straight from the oven! Yum!
There were also other traditional, popular Pakistani dishes at the brunch buffet, but I couldn't take it anymore because I wanted to save room for the tastiest dessert, Kheer (rice porridge made of cardamom, cream and rice, another golf, Yummy!!)
Everything cooked, deep-fried and baked on site! There are also fries, fried chicken and stir-fry dishes for those who want to eat non-Pakistani food.
Location: Plenty of seating. Family and child-friendly! The waiter staff is super cute oxygen nice.
Price: 150kr for brunch with so many dishes and for children 45kr under 12 years is Peanuts!!
