Evening SPA on 15/1-2026! Not sure how my female friend managed to get such a good price as we did, hello 1060kr/p and all😍… thank you so much thank you! Getting to the place is super easy to reach if you choose a mode of transportation like taxi, for example, it took us 20 minutes (recommend). Taking the public transport by bus is more complicated and time-consuming with a little over 1h travel. When on site it felt typcially stripped-down Japanese oasis already at the entrance. It starts nicely with an attentive receptionist who explained how everything worked and then we went down to the SPA facilities. The only times you saw staff were at the shop, the bar, and the dining hall; otherwise their presence was almost invisible! In this environment it really fits well. 3 of 5! I LOVE SPA facilities that prohibit mobiles! SPA is 💯% relaxed and preferably with several quiet zones, so Yazuragi is to my liking, +child-free! When we arrived it was almost full 4 hours with people (there were 6-8 more) so it felt like jackpot to have such a large SPA. I like the idea with the design and how it split up small pools a bit separate in small “cave rooms” and how the light enters. My companion and I don’t understand why the steam bath and the ice bath were so far apart🤨 What were they thinking, to have a hot jacuzzi opposite the steam bath?! When you come out of a hot steam bath you want to jump straight into a cold bath and not have to walk/run several meters to the ice bath, no no that’s very strange in my opinion. That you can have a glass in the terrace pools outside in this cozy cold and gaze over this winter landscape we had was magically relaxing, the cherry on top. Feels like Yazuragi does best in winter. Overall 3.5 out of 5! We treated ourselves to a few drinks during the SPA and they were really tasty little treats. The bar manager had thought it through so that the drinks matched the SPA atmosphere with a fresh clean touch. In our evening package we got a 2-course dinner, starter and main course. If you’re hungry there is the option to add small dishes and dessert as well. We chose two small dishes to share, then each had a starter and finished with waguburger which was so juicy and sticky together with fried bread to get the bread crunch, mmm mmm mmmm! 4 out of 5! Yazuragi is something my companion and I could imagine going to again. I strongly believe that it is best done in this cold, preferably toward the lower degrees, with the winter landscape we were lucky to have.
