I was attending a AOR rock concert (adult oriented rock) a few weeks ago and one band left to the final act, I was thrown away by the door guards. What happened was that there was a line at the bar to purchase beer and I signaled a male bartender to hurry up a little. He didn't like that at all so he called a guard to throw me out. I wasn't drunk, I didn't yell at nobody, just a normal hand gesture. I was totally surprised at the guards decision to keep me out despite explaining the situation in a good manner and willing to even apologize to the bartender. They don't know how to reason. I think the measure to throw me out was way too disproportionate. When I was telling to some people what happened to me, they told me that it is a recurring thing with the guards. One woman told me she was thrown out because she was dancing way too happy at a concert in the same venue, and she was sober! I strongly recommend event and rock organizers to book your concerts in other venues.
