At the same time, 5 out of 6 people in our group of childhood friends suffered from serious stomach problems after a visit to a local restaurant. A long night filled with repeated vomiting and diarrhea was followed by a week of sick leave for several of us. We all ate the same dishes and still struggled with our appetite a week after the visit.
The restaurant announced that the oysters in one of the dishes may have been the source of the infection and that they are now considering removing them from the menu.
The owner, Björn, has refunded us for the meal menu that led to illness.
