Head out into Skansen with your team and solve tricky riddles

Skansen has numerous activities for companies, groups of friends and families and other groups. One that's particularly good for bringing people together is Äventyr Skansen, an escape room-like game for all ages that's full of riddles, codes and passwords that you'll find all over Skansen.

Äventyr Skansen takes participants around Skansen and back to 1891, when Skansen was founded by an enterprising man named Artur Hazelius together with his assistant, Sigrid Millrath. Artur and Sigrid worked hard and created Skansen as it looks today, which was groundbreaking for its time. For 90 minutes, participants have to find their way around Skansen to crack the codes and passwords needed to finally solve the game's riddle. Along the way, they follow signs and markings found in the area.

The game is similar to an escape room and is suitable for a wide range of people, both children and adults. It's particularly good for team building and getting to know your own strengths. Äventyr Skansen is linked in several ways to Artur Hazelius' motto, "know yourself", both historically and by allowing you to explore your role in a group and your ability to solve problems. During the game, you move around most of Skansen, so it's a good idea to have comfortable shoes and water. During autumn and winter, participants are given a lantern which is an important aid, and it is also important to have warm clothes and proper shoes. 5-7 participants in each team is recommended.
