Frost Bageri Östermalm

Happy to finally try Frost, which opened in October last year. The place has a clear industrial feel with large glass sections and plenty of lighting, but unfortunately I didn’t find it particularly cozy. The noise level was fairly high and it felt a bit crowded at times. They didn’t have pizza today, but of course there were other options to choose from. I settled on two pastries and hot sandwiches: a levain with cheese, ham and dijonnaise and a focaccia with salami – both were okay.

The cinnamon roll had a somewhat bitter cinnamon taste with fairly pronounced cardamom pieces that overpowered it. The semla had a good bun, but the almond paste and nuts were unfortunately too sweet for my taste.

The coffee, however, both the cappuccino and the double espresso, were the highlight.
