Magnificent baroque castle

North of Stockholm is one of the world's best preserved baroque castles, Skoklosters castle. Meet baron Carl Gustaf Wrangel and baroness Anna Margareta von Haugwitz who had the castle built in the 17th century, and get to know the people who have lived and worked here. Stroll in the beautiful surroundings and admire artefacts from the aristocratic family's everyday life, as well as collections of art, weapons, books and textiles. One of the world's most famous paintings, Vertumnus by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, also hangs here.
