Around Skeppsholmen/Kastellholmen

Hotel Skeppsholmen

Relaxing oasis

Enjoy watching the ferries and boats come and go in Stockholm harbour as you wander around the island of Skeppsholmen. Stop at the hotel for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the restaurant or on the outdoor dining area if weather permits. Extend your outing in one of their sun loungers before setting off for a stroll around nearby Kastellholmen.

Torpedverkstan

Take a seat for a while

Torpedverkstan is housed in a former torpedo factory from 1890. Come by for a tasty lunch during the week, a bistro dinner with European influences in the evenings, or a blowout weekend brunch. Or just fill up your liquid reserves with a cocktail or glass of wine.

Kastellholmen

Perfect strolling distance

A perfect walk for anyone who wants to enjoy stunning views over Stockholm. From here you can look out over the Old Town and Södermalm, as well as Djurgården and Östermalm. The fortress is only open to pre-booked parties, but that doesn't mean you can't take a look at the beautiful building.

Moderna Museet

Art at its heart

One of Stockholm's most popular cultural destinations for locals and tourists alike. Moderna Museet is beautifully situated on the highest point of Skeppsholmen, with spectacular views from the restaurant. If you want something simple to eat, have a coffee and cake or an ice cream in the garden, and don't miss the museum shop before you leave.
