Relaxing oasis
Enjoy watching the ferries and boats come and go in Stockholm harbour as you wander around the island of Skeppsholmen. Stroll past Nybroplan and stop off at Svenskt Tenn. Around Djurgården
Swedish classic

Ernest Thiel's art collection
Keep walking past Waldemarsudde and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. If you walk along the waterfront you'll be rewarded with a particularly lovely walk leading out towards Blockhusudden and the majestic Thielska Galleriet. A must when visiting Djurgården. The gardens house glorious flowers, plants and vegetables and the café serves organic, locally-produced food. Thousands of butterflies
Continue your walk towards Haga Park and Fjärilshuset (Butterfly House). On the way there you'll pass by Haga Palace, the home of the Crown Princess and her family, and if you're lucky you might spot the odd royal passing by. The butterfly house is an 800 square metre large tropical greenhouse containing several thousand butterflies. If you can't get enough of animals and nature, the Haga Ocean aquarium is right next door.
