The Mall of Scandinavia opened in Solna in 2015, just seven minutes from central Stockholm by commuter train. As well as an IMAX cinema and some 200 shops, the shopping centre, the largest in Scandinavia, has a wide selection of restaurants and cafés. Indian Garden is run by Karim Rezaul, who has been passionate about cooking since he was a child and has been exploring Bengali and Indian cuisine since then. The restaurant has been named Europe's best Indian restaurant for its authentic Indian curries, masalas, fresh naan bread and other dishes.

O'Learys

6 000 square metres of fun

The world's largest O'Learys! This 6000 square metre pleasure palace includes food, drink, entertainment and masses of activities for all ages. Eat, drink, watch sport or try your hand at bowling on one of the 18 bowling lanes.

Classics from Persian cuisine

Traditional Persian dishes with meat, fish or vegetarian are prepared in the kitchen and on the grill at Farsi. Choose from stews such as ghormeh sabzi, grilled lamb with saffron rice, or perhaps a lentil stew enriched with fresh herbs and vegetables. Everything prepared from scratch and with respect for Persian food culture.

Brasserie X

Great views

Brasserie X is within Quality Hotel Friends, right next door to Mall of Scandinavia. Panoramic views combine with cocktails and French food. Despite its impressive location, the restaurant has a relaxed feel.

Zócalo

Taco feast

Next to the entrance to Friends Arena is Zócalo, a modern taqueria in Mexican-American style. Eat fresh and healthy fast food with both authentic and slightly more innovative flavours. The menu lists a bunch of different bowls, burritos, tacos and quesadillas, most of which can be ordered in vegan or vegetarian versions as you choose what kind of protein you want to add. Pair your meal with something festive such as Mexican beer and soft drinks, Zócalo's own margaritas and other cocktails.

Authentic Middle Eastern street food is the order of the day at this colourful restaurant on the ground floor. The menu lists various kinds of skewers, hummus bowls, wraps and plates filled with meze such as falafel, hummus, baba ganoush and hammoura. Both vegetarians and meat eaters will find plenty of options here.

Neko

Asian favourites

Neko serves a a mix of Japanese, Korean and Thai cuisines. Tuck into freshly prepared sushi, dumplings, wok or a noodle soup;  they also serve both wine and beer to pair with your meal if you fancy.

La Pasta Veloce

Pasta, fast

La Pasta Veloce call their concept "slow food fast" - Italian dishes prepared with care and tradition, in a fast-paced atmosphere. As the name suggests, pasta takes centre stage here, along with homemade sauces. The menu also offers pizza, risotto, salads and other Italian favourites.
