In beautiful Villa Skärtofta at Vår Gård in Saltsjöbaden, Easter is celebrated with an Easter menu as a complement to the à la carte menu. The Easter menu consists of Matjes herring with soured cream, green apple, rye bread, cucumber, and horseradish, lamb with fried asparagus, borlotti beans, lamb gravy, and baked tomatoes, as well as sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.

Michelin-starred Ergo is starting a new tradition, inviting friends and families for an Easter lunch featuring classic flavours interpreted through seasonal ingredients and modern craftsmanship. The Easter menu includes canapés, quail eggs, pickled herring, white asparagus, and turbot or lamb, and can be booked from 12-2pm.

Lux Dag för Dag at Lilla Essingen will be serving an Easter buffet from Maundy Thursday lunch to Holy Saturday, consisting of pickled herring, salmon, lamb, egg dishes, and all the other delights of Easter. There will also be a generous dessert buffet. Take a walk along the water before settling down in the restaurant to indulge in food and drink.

Enjoy Easter food over the Easter weekend in the charming merchant's villa on Djurgården. Take a walk out to Djurgården and celebrate Easter with a view over the water. On Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, Mediterranean-influenced Josefina will be serving its Easter buffet, in the form of a brunch available between 11.30am and 4pm.

Långholmens Wärdshus

2-6 April

At Långholmens Wärdshus, Easter is celebrated for five days, with an Easter buffet served throughout the holiday period in the 17th century inn. The buffet is made from scratch and includes a variety of cold cuts, main courses, sides, and desserts. If the weather's fine, you can take a stroll around the island before or after your meal.

Ulla Winbladh

2-6 April

The classic inn is known for celebrating Swedish culinary traditions, and Easter is no exception. They serve an Easter menu consisting of a pickled herring and salmon buffet, followed by butter-fried lamb fillet. The Easter dinner finishes with Ulla's Easter gateau with rhubarbs, vanilla cream and chocolate eggs.

2-5 April

Over Easter, Hasselbacken serves, in addition to its regular menu, a specially composed Easter menu which consists of a starter buffet featuring Easter classics, lamb, and a dessert buffet with Easter cake. For younger guests, there will be a children's menu, Easter crafts, film screenings, and sweets.

Verandan

2-6 April

Verandan at the Grand Hôtel serves an Easter buffet throughout the Easter weekend, which you can enjoy with a view of  Stockholm harbour. On Maundy Thursday, the restaurant is only open in the evening, but on other days, you can also visit them for lunch.

Sturehof

31 March – 6 April

Sturehof serves a three-course Easter menu, and they also offer platters with pickled herring and other Eastery items. If you'd rather eat at home, you can buy Easter food from them for takeaway. . The Easter menu consists of white asparagus, grilled lamb skewers, and baked vanilla cream.

Långbro Värdshus

2-6 April

Easter at Långbro Värdshus should feel like celebrating Easter at home. In the turn of the century house, you can enjoy a vibrant Easter buffet from Maundy Thursday onwards. Help yourself to classic dishes with modern flavours and green alternatives. Drinks-wise, choose from their own-spiced snaps and craft beers from small-scale producers.

Gondolen doesn't just boast one of the best views in town, you can also celebrate Easter here with fresh spring flavours. Specially for Easter, the chefs have created a menu consisting of claypot herring with vendace roe from Kalix, saddle of lamb with accompaniments, and Easter cake. The restaurant's jazz band will also be performing over the weekend.

Ulriksdals Värdshus is serving a three-course menu in the palace grounds, focusing on the first fresh vegetables of spring. There's a dedicated menu for children and a cosy craft corner. Embrace spring in the beautiful gardens of the inn and its scenic surroundings.
