Choose from cold and hot dishes such as pickled herring, salmon, egg halves, roast lamb, Skagen mix, and Västerbotten cheese pie – among many other dishes. Lux Dag för Dag

28–30 March

Lux Dag för Dag on Lilla Essingen serves a generous Easter buffet with all the classic dishes, accompanied by exciting new dishes. In addition to salmon, devilled eggs, shrimp salad, and meatballs, there will be red cabbage slaw with mustard seeds, broccoli with horseradish dressing, roasted pointed cabbage, and dill and sea buckthorn pickled herring. Among the hot dishes are poached eggs, roast lamb, and meatballs with cream sauce, and the meal concludes with a dessert buffet.

Villa Godthem

29th March – 1st April

Enjoy Easter food over the Easter weekend in the charming merchant's villa on Djurgården. A classic Easter menu is served, starting with an Easter buffet filled with pickled herring and salmon, followed by lamb shank for the main course and pavlova for dessert.

Långholmens Wärdshus

At Långholmens Wärdshus, Easter is celebrated for four days, with an Easter buffet served throughout the holiday period in the 17th century inn. There's also the option to sit outside in the Wärdshus park if the weather permits. The buffet is made from scratch and includes a variety of cold cuts, main courses, sides, and desserts.

Ulla Winbladh is reopening her doors on Djurgården after a long renovation just in time for Easter. The classic inn is known for celebrating Swedish culinary traditions, and Easter is no exception. They serve an Easter menu consisting of nettle soup, pickled herring and salmon buffet, lamb fillet, and baked almond cream with peach ice cream.

Verandan

The Veranda at the Grand Hôtel serves an Easter buffet throughout the Easter weekend, which you can enjoy with a view of  Stockholm harbour. On Maundy Thursday, the restaurant is only open in the evening, but on other days, you can also visit them for lunch.

Sturehof

28 March–1 April

Sturehof is open as usual throughout Easter and welcomes in the spring with dishes from the traditional Easter table served at both lunch dinner. Dinner starts with several delicacies followed by a starter of white asparagus and a main course of lamb.

Nalen

28–30 March

Nalen will be serving an Easter dinner with “egg-picking”, which is a Skåne tradition in which people compete against each other by tapping two eggs against each other without letting them crack. After the egg-picking competition, a three-course dinner follows with clay- pot herring, lamb sirloin, and cheesecake.

Sjöpaviljongen

28 March–1 April

At Sjöpaviljongen by Alviks strand, an Easter-themed three-course menu is served with a view over the water. The menu includes asparagus with bearnaise sauce for starters, lamb sirloin or spring chicken for main course, and rhubarb compote with baked yogurt for dessert.

Sundby Gård

29 March–1 April

Sundby Farm has a long tradition of Easter traditions, which of course also includes the food associated with the holiday. They serve a classic Easter buffet with dishes such as various types of pickled herring, salmon, roast lamb and Jansson's Temptation, but there's also a vegan section.

Långbro Värdshus

The menu at Lisa Elmqvist in Östermalmshallen always includes a pickled herring platter, an ideal choice over Easter. The herring plate consists of all the classic components: three or five types of pickled herring, crispbread, and Västerbotten cheese. Or choose the a carefully composed Matjes herring plate with red onion, chives, dill, and egg. Naturally, they also offer smoked and gravad lax salmon.

Gondolen

Gondolen doesn't just boast one of the city's best views, you can also celebrate Easter here with lots of fresh spring flavours. Their chefs have created a three-course menu consisting of nettle and wild garlic soup, dill lamb from the Pyrenees, and Swedish rhubarb with almond cake. The outdoor terrace on the 12th floor is open regardless of the weather.
