The Viking Museum is located next to the sparkling waters of Wasahamnen on Djurgården. The museum has created a living world that weaves together facts, myths and archaeology in a way that's both exciting and educational. In the museum, history comes to life through an interactive exhibition with films, sounds, authentic objects and environments that visitors can experience on their own or via a guided tour. Visitors will learn about the everyday life, travels and mythology of the Vikings, and dive deep into everything from family life to traditions and social structures. Don't miss Ragnfrid's Saga, a dramatised journey through 10th-century Europe inspired by real events. If you want to buy something historical to take home, you can visit the gift shop, whose shelves are filled with everything from Scandinavian crafts and jewellery to Viking helmets, Icelandic liquorice and tea.

Inside the The Viking Museum is Restaurang Eld. Both the museum and the restaurant can be booked for private events such as company parties, children's parties and birthday celebrations with a historical setting.
