Japanska Galleriet is on Arsenalsgatan in the heart of the city, housed in a former gallery which has now been transformed into an elegant restaurant in minimalist style. The artworks have been swapped out for stylish sushi and Japanese fusion food with inspiration from Tokyo.
Japanska Galleriet has retained its gallery-style surroundings and now serves sushi as an art form instead of art, with seasonal flavours and creative presentations. Inspiration comes from Tokyo and the iconic neon signs of Japanese izakayas. The menu includes the chef's selection of sashimi and nigiri, as well as smaller fusion dishes with Japanese flavours and drinks such as sake and whiskey.
The former exhibition space has been decorated in elegant, minimalist style with a nod to both the art world and Japan. Guests are met by an intimate, lively setting, with light and dark woods, black and white photographs, Japanese ceramics and pink tiling. You can also grab a spot at the bar and watch as the chefs cook food in the open kitchen. If you want to carry on afterwards, Japanska Galleriet is centrally located just a stone's throw from Nybroplan and Berzelii park.
The restaurant also offers catering for both private and corporate events. They'll work with you to create a menu filled with top-quality sushi, seasonal ingredients and accompanying drinks. R

Newly opened and serving some seriously amazing flavours! Wow. Quality food, beautifully presented in a stylish and cozy ambiance. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner! The interiors are on point and the friendly staff make it a pleasure to dine here!!
