Classic brasserie with a modern touch
Salon Terminal brasserie is housed in a historic building on Vasagatan 20. It serves modern interpretations of classic brasserie dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is run by Jonas Höglander, who previously worked at establishments including Operakällaren, along with Elias Kvarning as Creative Chef.
The menu is based on the brasserie tradition, with timeless dishes updated with seasonal ingredients and unexpected flavour combinations. An example of this is one of the signature dishes, a dry-aged turbot with artichoke, spring shoots and sobrasada. The concept is all about balancing the tried-and-tested with the playful and walking the line between the past and the present, and by doing so lowering the threshold and welcoming guests to relaxed, well-considered experiences around the table, from quick post-work drinks to magnificent gastronomic experiences.
There's also a bar, a full fourteen metres long, where iconic cocktails are served alongside the bar's own creations. Start or round off your meal here, or drop by for a spontaneous drink.
The address has served as a hub for both Stockholmers and tourists for many decades, a history that they want to preserve while giving it a contemporary touch. The central location makes it easy to drop by for all meals of the day, from breakfast and lunch to post-work drinks and dinner. The restaurant has around 90 seats and a couple of private dining rooms.
