Jättetrevlig kvarterskrog som känns väldigt genuin. God och vällagad mat! Till förrätt åt jag en burrata, som jag i efterhand förstått ska vara prisbelönt och det förstår jag mer än väl – riktigt god! Till varmrätt så blev det en entrecote med ruccola, parmesan och tomater och det var bland den godaste entrecoten jag ätit på restaurang i Sverige.
När vi var där så satt vi inte i själva trattorian utan i Montanaris bakficka som heter Piccolo - en fin lokal som var mysigt inredd. Menyn är densamma oavsett om i vilken del av restaurangen du sitter i. Personalen var supertrevlig, berättade om alla rätter, och förklarade exakt vad som låg på tallriken. Killen som serverade oss berättade även mycket om sin familj (alltså ägarna av restaurangen), om deras bakgrund, och om området i Italien som de kommer ifrån. Alltid roligt när folk delar med sig av sådant och det märktes väl att han hade mycket kunskap kring produkterna.

My girlfriend is allergic so we talked to the waiter and asked if they could make a truffle risotto as they had another risotto on the menu already for 245 SEK and a truffle pasta on the menu for 255 SEK. I estimated the price for this truffle risotto to be like the truffle pasta, 255 SEK. The waiter said of course we fix that!

When we got the bill we saw that the risotto became the most expensive dish on the whole menu, 300 SEK! The staff did not say anything about this and to be honest the risotto was not worth more than the pasta with truffle i.e. 255 SEK.
You might think this is captious of us but for me this is about principles and the decency of telling us about the price beforehand.

My learning; assumption is the mother/father of all fuckups!
