There's a wide range of activities for all ages and groups at Sweden's oldest open-air museum and zoo, Skansen. Experience Sweden's cultural heritage, meet Nordic animals and take part in a wide range of events, such as concerts and craft fairs.

Since Skansen was founded in 1891, visitors have been able to experience historic houses and buildings, gardens, customs and traditions in the open-air museum, as well as meet Nordic animals such as bears, wolves and moose in the zoo. Skansen puts on numerous events and performances such as concerts, dance evenings, craft days and markets all year round. They also have wide range of activities for companies as well as for friends, families and other groups and occasions, such as stag and hen parties.

If you want to get the most out of Skansen, you can enjoy a full day here. You can also rent the famous Solliden stage for private concerts, parties and meetings with spectacular views of Stockholm, or experience a folk park evening on the historic Galejan bandstand, with live music and a carousel. Or why not check out the aquariums with colleagues, or attend a show about Sweden's history.

For more of a teambuilding activity, try Äventyr Skansen, which is rather like an escape room but revolving around Skansen's history, where participants have to solve riddles by collecting clues and solutions around Skansen. The game is suitable for all ages, and it's a great way to get to know each other and your own strengths.
