Music-mad food and wine bar with a view 

In the Katarinahuset building in Slussen, Pet Sounds Bar is run by the same team as the legendary Pet Sounds record store on Skånegatan. The music angle is huge, but they've also made room for food, wine and various events.

Despite the name, Pet Sounds Bar is just as much a restaurant as it is a bar, at least if you look at the à la carte menu, which lists ambitious dishes with influences mainly from Southern Europe. Most of them come in the form of small and medium-sized dishes, but there are also some larger dishes and desserts on the menu. So you can either put together a three-course meal or have a sharing dinner with a little bit of everything. On weekdays, they also serve a daily lunch special with fish, meat or vegetarian options. If you want to toast something delicious with your meal, or simply stop by for a glass or two, there's plenty to choose from. The focus in the bar is mainly on wine and sparkling wine from European wine countries, but some classic cocktails and craft beers can also be found on the drinks menu.

It's not hard to tell that music is close to the hearts of both the owners and the guests here. The homely, slightly rustic venue is filled with vinyl records and the speakers stream cool tunes, which contributes to the slightly upbeat atmosphere. A concept that has made the bar a particularly popular hangout for after-work parties and relaxed dinners. In the summer months, the terrace opens up with a view of the waters around Slussen.

As well as visiting Pet Sounds Bar to eat, drink and just hang out, you can also come here for various kinds of events. Live performances and music quizzes are of course obvious features, but art openings, book releases, live podcasts and conversations are also regular features.
