Spanish villa vibes in the heart of Slussen 

With rustic yet elegant decor, a hearty menu with a focus on sharing, a large terrace by the water and exciting cocktails, Villa Valentina aims to create a cheerful, southern European feel where it's all about community, long evenings and Spanish traditions.

The team behind the restaurant wants it to feel like a Spanish villa in the countryside, adapted to its location at one of Stockholm's most visited and modern hubs – Slussen. The restaurant has a beautiful view of Riddarfjärden which you can enjoy while sharing Spanish dishes and sipping on a glass of wine or a cocktail.

Inspiration comes from Spanish villages and rural kitchens, with classic Spanish flavours that meet modern influences. The menu is divided into snacks, medium plates from the farm, the sea and the garden, and slightly larger dishes consisting of grilled meat or fish. The idea is to create a menu that's both safe and interesting, inviting a social experience at the table, and thanks to the open kitchen, you can watch all the delicious food being prepared by the chefs. The food is accompanied by wine from Spain, but also France, Italy and other parts of the Mediterranean. The southern European theme continues on the cocktail list, which includes sangria, Aperol drinks and various variations of gin and tonic.

With 250 seats indoors and 150 on the terrace, there's plenty of room for numerous groups who want to have dinner or a weekend lunch together. Among the tables you'll find groups of friends raising a glass and passing plates between them, and the large bar in the middle of the venue is the place to come spontaneously – and sometimes get stuck all evening. Four-legged friends are welcome, but since the atmosphere inside is often delightfully lively, especially on weekend evenings, it may be worth considering sitting outside on the slightly quieter terrace if you have your dog with you.
