Cheap and central

This popular budget hotel is located close to the city bus terminal and Arlanda Express. The low price is however not reflected in the decor, which is punctuated by Scandinavian design and luxurious Jensen beds. The breakfast buffet is also free of charge for hotel guests.

Långholmen Hotell

Sleep in a former prison

Lush Långholmen, located close to Hornstull and Reimersholme, boasts beautiful promenades and sandy beaches as well as interesting accommodation options to say the least. Once a prison, Hotell Långholmen has been converted into a thematic hotel and hostel. Former cells act as rooms; prison bars and stripes punctuate the decor.

Right next to Mariatorget, Hotel Hornsgatan is a small, personal hotel with 22 rooms in old-fashioned style. The neighbourhood is full of restaurants and shops, but the environment at the hotel is calm and peaceful. Some of the rooms have private bathrooms, but most have shared bathrooms in the corridor. A breakfast buffet is included in the price.

Wasa Park Hotel

In addition to a popular natural-wine bar, Reimersholme Hotel also has 52 single, double, triple and four-bed rooms. Some of them have en suite showers and toilets, while others are shared. Most of the rooms have views over the inner courtyard or the water that surrounds the island the hotel stands on, and you can choose from staying in the main building or the annexe. The main building is a bit busier and louder, while the anexe can be booked for longer periods and has self-catering facilties.

Smart, compact and good value are the watchwords at Comfort Hotels, and it would be hard to get any closer to Central station than this. Choose between spacious and slightly smaller rooms, and only pay for the breakfast you take.
