Bistro Bread & Wine at Fotografiska will be serving a three-course dinner on 14th February. The evening starts with a welcome cocktail on arrival and then continues with a dinner experience in the bistro. Combine your meal with a visit to one of the exhibitions of world-class photographic art.
Flavours of Italy
This family-run trattoria focuses on Italian cuisine. Expect the kind of flavours you'd find in Rome's family-run neighbourhood restaurants, Naples' colourful food markets and the sun-kissed seaside towns along the Amalfi Coast. On Valentine's Day they'll be serving a four-course menu of lobster soup, fettucine, Arctic char or fillet of beef, and pannacotta.
In honour of the special evening, Skeppsbron 10 is opening its chef's table with a total of 12 seats for different parties to sit around together. Diners have a full view of the kitchen, where dishes such as poached oysters with sturgeon caviar, trout roe with potato foam, beef tartare, Skrei cod and tiramisu ice cream boat are prepared. There are two seating times to choose from, starting at 5pm or 7.45 pm.
Celebrate love at Torpedverkstan, where they welcome guests to a Valentine's Dinner by offering several lovingly composed menus. Dinner is accompanied by live jazz, for an extra romantic atmosphere.
Hotel Kung Carl, a Parisian boutique hotel on Stureplan, is arranging a memorable evening this Valentine's Day. Begin the evening with a glass of wine in the atmospheric bar before heading down to the La Belle Epoque bistro to eat a specially created three-course menu with canapés, artichoke soup, fillet of veal or Arctic char and raspberry mousse. The menu is available from February 14-17th.
Two dinner options
This intimate Södermalm bistro offers two different dinner options in honour of the special evening. The first is a four-course tasting menu with oysters, lobster, venison, goat cheese and dessert, and the second option goes by the name Fruits of the field. It's a barbecue tray with tenderised Swedish picanha steak, entrecôte, brisket, cured bone marrow and chicken thigh skewers, along with side dishes such as dirty fries, sauces and buttered rice.
Northern Swedish romance
Charming Knut on Regeringsgatan serves an exclusive three-course menu on 14 February. Celebrate Valentine's Day with bleak roe blinis, tartare of smoked Arctic char, spice-grilled fillet of venison and raspberry parfait. There's also a vegetarian alternative which should be pre-ordered.

You can also book a table just for a few drinks and snacks, if you don't want to go all-in with a full dinner
Take your beloved along to Smådalarö Gård in the Stockholm archipelago. Check in from 1pm, and head down to the spa area where you can enjoy heated pools both indoors and out. The following day you'll wake up to a generous breakfast buffet.
