This top quality artisan bakery is run by restaurateurs Mathias Dahlgren and Martin Berg. They sell rye bread, along with other breads made from other Swedish grains. Buy your breakfast bread to take home with you or take a seat and eat breakfast in.

Haga Bottega in Hagastaden lays out a generous breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs and bacon, mini croissants, smoothies, fruit, yoghurt and sourdough bread, among other things. Hold a breakfast meeting or start your working day here with your laptop and free wifi.

Gast on Rådmansgatan is a stylish and popular breakfast option. Choose from sandwiches, American pancakes and porridge, as well as tempting pastries and excellent coffee. Trendy, pared-back interiors, with candles and leafy plants, set the scene.

Pom & Flora's beautiful breakfast creations are a regular feature on social media. They serve breakfast all day with dishes such as various bowls, porridge, scrambled eggs and banana bread. It's worth getting here early as there's often a queue out of the door.
