100 per cent organic
Fredrik Ekman and Håkan Johansson Frost, Sweden's only world champions in baking, are the guys behind this organic artisan bakery housed in Tullhus 1, a former customs house. They grind their own wholemeal flour on site here and bake sourdough bread and buns using only organic ingredients. Skeppsbro Bageri is also a popular café with views over the water.

Bullar&Bröd opened on Valhallavägen in the autumn of 2017 and its run by award-winning baker Gabriel di Grado toghether with Linda Aving. From Skellefteå to Södermalm
Skellefteå-based Svedjan also has a branch in Zinkensdamm, and the baking skills they've brought with them from northern Sweden are extremely popular with Södermalm locals. You'll find a small but ambitious selection of buns, bread and cakes baked using Swedish flour. Everything is baked in batches throughout the day to ensure its as fresh as possible.
