Where to sing karaoke in Stockholm

Every room is decorated in Japanese style and has an iPad loaded with more than 85 000 songs to choose from. You can also order in drinks and snacks with Japanese and Korean influences. Asian gastropub Goma wakes up early and stays up late. Start off with something to drink and some sharing dishes in this design-led restaurant before you head to a karaoke booth for singing, dancing and perhaps a cocktail or two. Their karaoke room, Gorma, is bookable in advance and can be accessed via a private entrance.

There are masses of activities to choose from at Tolv Stockholm in Globen, including karaoke. O'Learys karaoke bar has private rooms for up to 20 people, equipped with more than 3000 songs. If you like you can order drinks in your room or eat dinner at O'Learys.

This classic spot on Kungsgatan has a nightclub and karaoke bar for anyone who wants to get up on stage. Perform some golden oldies in front of friends and strangers - the karaoke bar is open to all. If you want to eat you need to book a table in advance.

This Södermalm pub runs karaoke five days a week and everyone's welcome to get up on stage. Just put your name down on the evening's list and wait for your song number. Fridays and Saturdays are party karaoke nights and the list can get very long.

Rock fans can get up on stage and grab the mike at Pub Anchor on Sveavägen. The pub is a real rock hangout and they arrange rock karaoke every Tuesday and Sunday from 10pm. If you'd rather see a band they also put on live shows every week.

Do you dream of taking over the stage accompanied by a live band? Then head down to this legendary jazz bar in the Old Town. On the last Wednesday of every month they put on live-band karaoke in front of a mixed crowd.

Enjoy the atmosphere at this Irish pub in the Old Town. Their cellar bar plays host to live bands and DJs as well as karaoke in front of the crowd. Naturally you can combine singing with pub grub and beer, or perhaps watch a live-broadcast sports match.

There are karaoke nights at Harry B James in Kungsträdgården every night a week except for Fridays and Saturdays. Make sure you get there early if you want to sing as many songs as possible.
